You can't be a Shaman unless you are TRAINED and there is some sort of earthly proof that you are a Shaman. You must have some sort of paper, or training by some mortal or you can't label yourself a Shaman or a Shamanic Healer. To this I Say, Poppycock. You are who you know yourself to be. Your True training comes from Spirit, comes from within. Whether you train with, certify with or are accepted by mortal man as a Shaman is really no one's business but yours. If you are a Shaman, then you Are a Shaman. Own It and let No Mortal take you asunder. 

You Cannot be a Witch nor practice witchcraft, healing, herbalism or wise womyn ways unless you are trained, in a coven, get a certificate of paper, have a mortal ceremony, meet the approval of some mortal or group of mortals. And possibly even after submitting to what they deem your training should be, your life should be and all that is you should be.  And then maybe you are a "Real Witch". Well to that I say Poppycock. If you know yourself to be a witch, and practice witchcraft as trained by you, by study, by work with spirit, with witches crossed over, or whatever way you have come to know and call yourself a Witch, a healer, an herbalist, a witchraft healer or practitioner, then you ARE and you Do. Let NO MORTAL take you asunder.
