Venus enters Taurus

Our goddess goes home.

Venus has been scorched, singed and sunburnt in Aries, as for many months she’s been trialed, tested and put through fire after fire

This has been going on for an extremely long time - since February 4th in fact - as she was thrust into the fire, then pulled back into Pisces (to drown during a messy eclipse/retrograde) and then pushed back into the fire to fight her way through the flames …until… today.

This has tested us all. Not only is Venus in her detriment in Aries - she had to contend with challenging run ins to Saturn (heavy restrictions, reality checks, delays and lack of softness) as well as Neptune (confusion) and chiron (wounds.)

The goddess of love and beauty really deserves this respite in her home sign right now.

Taurus brings relief. Slow Living. Sensual pleasures. Beauty, grounding. Good food, beautiful environments… a much more regulated nervous system

For a moment we can slow the schedule, breath a little deeper, lie in the sun, eat the olives, sip slowly and - integrate.

Because.. wtf just happened…? Aries is what happened. Fire, fiesty, fast moving energy that overheats.

So the astrogy checks.. as usual

Utilise the next few weeks to slow down. To surround yourself with beauty. To grant yourself some grace. To rest.
